This October our toddlers are learning about emotions with pumpkin faces using flashcards. They are just beginning to navigate the world of emotions and at this stage, they experience feelings intensely but often do not have the words to express them. So we prepared flashcards from happy smiles to surprised looks – learning to recognize and name different emotions while enjoying the spooky season. We also reviewed colors and numbers with Tulip class.

This Halloween season, as kids face the fun and fright of the season, they’re also building emotional strength.
