This week we have learned feelings while using flashcards with pumpkin’s facial expressions. Kids experience complex feelings just like adult too. They get frustrated, happy, sad worried and grumpy. However, toddlers usually don’t have the word about how they are feeling , instead they communicate in other ways . They can express their feelings through facial expression, body language, behaviour and play. . Sometimes they act in a problematic and inapropriate way. So somehow, in learning this kind of feelings, in Japanese or English, they can say it in a word next time they knew what is the meaning of those feelings.
We also include the song story Yummy Pie, Counting 1-5 of pumpkins and apples. They are very good at it.
