Good day!

The rainy season is finally here! Puddles are forming on the streets are perfect for a splashy adventure with friends. More importantly, rainy days bring an excuse to wear our colorful raincoats!

For this month’s song, we are going to hear a lot about the Itsy-Bitsy Spider! Let me share to you the lyrics and hopefully you can sing along with your little one.

The Itsy-Bitsy Spider

The itsy-bitsy spider crawled up the waterspout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,
and the itsy-bitsy spider went up the spout again.

While singing, the children show their interest to the song while swaying their body left and right and clapping their hands!

And for this month’s vocabulary, we are going to use the repetition of the action verbs like jump, roll, and climb.

Sample of action verbs in a sentence.

    • The spider is jumping!
    • The spider is climbing!
    • The Spider is rolling!

And our new friend spider teaches the children on how to jump, climb and roll!

After the English class, we went for a walk to the park. Were we played in the sand making sand puddings and building castles! The texture of the sand makes the children hesitates at first but once they got used to it, they enjoyed playing with it. Making imaginary food is fun! The children enjoyed playing with the teachers too!

Today was a fun day!

We are looking forward to our next lesson together!
